Welcome to the "new" cityhighdynamos.com. We have a new registration format which will help us plan for the 2009 reunion. Please go ahead and begin registering now for next year. There will be many more changes ahead for the website so stay tuned! We have already started planning events for DDR '09. Please plan to join us as we celebrate 40 years with the class of 1969. We will be announcing many more details for '09 in the near future.

* DYNAMO DECADE REUNION 2008 WAS GREAT! The weather in Chattanooga was PERFECT all weekend. The Commons at CHS was full on Friday night and decked out in maroon and white. The school looked great and everyone enjoyed seeing old friends and walking through the entire school. The old gang couldn't handle 500 Krystals, though!! Many old friends came to the hotel on Saturday afternoon to catch up, visit and eat pizza (nobody wanted the leftover Krystals). Saturday night at the Convention Center was another full house. We prepared for about 260 people and just about all tables were full! We danced right up to midnight and the dance floor stayed packed.

Thank you to all who attended and supported this event. We plan to work hard to make the reunion grow into something very special for CHS grads to look forward to every year. Thanks to everyone who gave us input as to ideas for the future. One great idea presented was to help the school out by using the reunion to raise some funds for the school. More on that later. The sky is the limit as to the potential for this event.
Thank you to everyone who helped out for almost an entire year on the DDR '08 "adventure." What a great team! It could not have come together without you. Special thanks to Gail Minga, Butch and Janet Hinshaw, Joe and Cheryl Elkins, my sister Michelle Jolly, Mike and Paige McKelvy, Cindy Thomas and Tom Westbrook. Also, thanks to Roger Smith ('69) for spreading the word to so many. Roger, we missed you!!
The planning for DDR '09 has begun! We did not take as much time off from working on the project as we thought because we missed it too much!! Kenny will be contacting each of you that indicated an interest in helping for next year. We will need your help!! All of us want to reach so many more grads. We loved working together on the '08 reunion but the best part was seeing so many old friends. We hope YOU had a memorable weekend at DDR '08 and Happy Holidays to all CHS grads and friends. Stay tuned to the website for future announcements.
